Pho Noodles





Pho Noodles
This delicious Vietnamese Pho Noodles recipe is full of proteins and nutrients and is considered as a great comfort meal. Go ahead and try something new this Ramadan!
Servings: 4-6

 

Pho Stock:


1 big white onion, stripped and divided

3-inch piece of new ginger, divided the long way

5 star anise

4 entire cloves

3 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks

2 cardamom cases

1 tbsp entire coriander seeds

8 cups great quality hamburger stock (or chicken or vegetable stock)

1 tbsp earthy colored sugar

2 tsp fish sauce

fine ocean salt, to taste

Pho Soup:


8 ounces crude steak, meagerly cut (or chicken or shrimp)

7 ounces uncooked slight rice noodles

For Decorating:


New spices like cilantro, mint, or potentially Thai basil)

Bean sprouts, lime wedges, meagerly cut chiles (Thai bird chiles or jalapeños)

1 meagerly cut onion (green or white)

Sriracha sauce
