HADITHS ABOUT RAMADAN
Numerous Muslims worldwide need to be aware of and familiar with the Prophet (SAW)'s hadiths regarding the holy month of Ramadan. A devotee will feel more motivated and inspired to make the most of Ramadan by doing good deeds after learning about these Hadiths. A few Hadiths or portions of Hadiths about this extraordinary month are provided below.
The establishment of Islam is dependent on five sources of support, and one of those sources is fasting. A true Muslim is expected to observe these points of support with the utmost dedication because they are also the foundation of a devotee. SAW, Allah's messenger, stated:
"One of the five standards of Islam is to notice quickly during the long period of Ramadan," according to Islamic teachings.
(Bukhari, Sahih) 8) Learn about the Five Principles of Islam Commitment to Ramadan Fasting Every Muslim should be aware that fasting during Ramadan is required, and Allah has advised us to do so in His Book:
"O you who have accepted, proclaimed upon you is fasting in the same manner that it was declared upon those before you that you might become noble."
According to Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183, Allah teaches us that fasting is a commitment and that performing obligatory acts will bring a devotee closer to Allah. The analogy is clear from the following Hadith:
According to the Prophet (SAW), Allah Said:
"The most esteemed deeds with which my slave moves closer to Me are the necessary deeds."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 6502)
So notice the responsibility of fasting during Ramzan and become ardent and closer to Allah.
Ramadan is also important to all Muslims because it is during this blessed month that the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.). According to what Allah says in the Quran:
"During the long period of Ramadan, the Qur'an was discovered, providing humanity with a direction and clear evidence for the rule (among good and bad)."
One of Allah's most generous favors during the long period of Ramadan is the opportunity to have our Duas (petitions) acknowledged (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185). The Prophet (SAW) stated:
"There are three requests that are not denied: The fair chief, the petition of the abused person, and the fasting individual when he breaks his fast... 3598) Umrah during Ramadan is the same as Hajj. If you have the financial and physical means, you should perform Umrah during this favored month, as our Prophet (S.A.W.) stated:
"Go to Umrah when Ramadan comes, because Umrah in Ramadan is similar to Hajj."
(Muslim Sahih: 1256) For a complete Umrah guide on Ramadan and Shawwal fasting, click here. Although Ramadan fasting is obligatory (fardh) and fasting for six days during Shawwal (the month that comes after Ramadan) is voluntary (sunnah), the ethics of these six days of fasting are significant. The Prophet (SAW) stated:
"Whoever diets during Ramadan and then eats six from Shawwal is compensated in a way that is equivalent to consistently fasting."
(Tirmidhi: 759) The Hadith's phrasing makes sense because, assuming you combine the Ramadan diets with a six-day fast during Shawwal, the reward for a devotee is comparable to an entire year of fasting with one condition: we have completed Ramadan.
Learn about 6 Shawwal Fasting Eating Suhoor during Ramadan is a gift. Suhoor is a meal that a person who is fasting takes before beginning their fast during Ramadan (prior to the beginning of the Fajr Prayer). In light of the following Hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W.), we should not avoid this feast during Ramadan:
"Take Suhoor, which is a late-night feast, because it is a gift."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 1923) Break Quick with Date or Water Iftar is a meal that is eaten by people who are fasting during Ramadan (at the time of the Maghrib prayer). This is Sunnah to breaking fast with Dates in the enlightenment of the going with Hadith in which Prophet (S.A.W.) has said:
"If he has dried dates, let him break the quick with those, and if he doesn't, let him break the quick with water because water is certain to purge."
(Tirmidhi: 694) According to the following Quranic section, traveling while fasting is not required for a person who is going out:
"So whoever of you finds the sickle on the first evening of the long stretch (of Ramadan, for instance) is available at his home, he should notice Saum (diets) that month, and whoever is sick or on an excursion, a similar number [of days] should be made up from different days."
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185) Although a traveler can skip his or her fast during travel days and make up for it after Ramadan, Hadith clearly demonstrates that it is up to the traveler to decide whether or not they need to notice their fast during movement.
According to the Hadith, when the Prophet (S.A.W.) received information about fasting while moving, He provided the following response:
"In case you (traveling individual) wish, speedy and expecting you wish, don't fast."
[Msulim Sahih] 1121(a)] Tarawih Petition During Ramadan One of Ramadan's gifts, Tarawih Supplications During Ramadan (After Isha Petition) are essential. Even though Tarawih petitioning God is Sunnah (discretionary) and not a commitment (Fardh) for a devotee, we should make an effort to make this request in a group throughout the entire month of Ramadan due to its importance and value. The Prophet (SAW) stated:
"Whoever implores Qiyaam (Taraweeh Supplication) with the imam until he is finished, it will be recorded as if he prayed all night."
(Tirmidhi: 806) Therefore, during Ramadan, invoke Tarawih Supplication in order to obtain the reward of spending the entire night praying to heaven.
Avoid sins during a fast During a fast, going without food and drink is not enough to achieve devotion. Instead, a person must put in a lot of time and effort to avoid a wide range of sins. Prophet (S.A.W.) said that Allah Said:
"Whoever doesn't give up naughty and ignorant talk, and going about according to that, Allah has no need of his giving up his food and drink."
(Ibn Maja:) 1689) Since we swear to abstain from Allah's permissible acts (drinking and eating), abstaining from the things that are currently forbidden (Haram) becomes more important when fasting. Therefore, Allah will not acknowledge our quick if we do not avoid doing dishonest things and vices during our quick. One of the purposes of our quick is to become devoted and attain Allah's delight; however, if you do not give up doing sinister deeds, how can you expect that Allah will acknowledge your quick?
It is the Sunnah of Prophet (S.A.W.) to spend the last ten days and evenings of Ramadan in the mosque. Take note of Itakaf during the third Ashra of Ramadan. In Masjid, this is referred to as itakaf, or confinement. According to the Hadith that Abdullah container Umar (R.A.) described,
"During the most recent ten days of Ramadan, Allah's Messenger (SAW) used to practice I'tikaf."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 2025) As a result, observe Itakaf during the most recent ten days of Ramadan to fulfill this extraordinary Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW).
Hadith about Laylatul Qadr Laylat al Qadr is one of the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. Loving on this night is better than 83 years of love and is better than 1,000 months. There are many Hadiths and sections of the Quran that explain its significance; Some of them are listed below:
"In the odd evenings of the last ten days of Ramadan, look for the evening of Qadr."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 2017) "Verily, We have sent it down in the evening of Al-Qadr (Pronunciation),"
"Whoever goes through the evening of Lailat Al-Qadr in petitioning heaven out of confidence and in the desire for recompense, his past sins will be excused" (Surah Al-Qadr 97:1).
(Nasai: 5027) During Laylatul Qadr, ask as much as you can to get rid of all of your previous sins and receive the reward of celebrating 1,000 months in one evening (or on odd nights during the last ten days of Ramadan).

"At the beginning of Ramadan, the doors of Agony are shut, the entrances to paradise are opened, and the villains are anchored."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 1899) 2-Fasting protects against death:
Following Hadith clearly demonstrates that fasting during Ramadan is a safeguard against the fire of misery as well as a safeguard against sin. The Prophet (SAW) stated:
"Fasting is a shield or protection against the fire and sin."
(Bukhari, Sahih) 1904) Three-Time Expansion of the Award of Commitments:
Salman Farsi (R.A.) said in a long Hadith about Ramadan that the Prophet (S.A.W.) said:
"… Whoever plays out a fardh (responsibility), will be given the award of seventy faraaidh (responsibilities) in later … ."
(Hadith No. 1, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah) 4-Rizq (Food) is expanded in 1887:
In a comparative Hadith referred to above, Prophet (S.A.W.) said:
"... It is the month when a genuine devotee expands their rizq (food, cash, and other things)..."
(Hadith No. 1, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah) 1887) Five-Devoted Paradise Entryway for a Fasting Individual:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) has stated:
"When the Revival comes, only those who notice diets will enter through an entrance in Heaven known as Ar-Raiyan, and none with the exception of
